Learn Mafian’s Story

Mafian Sitali from Siazibola Village was sponsored by The Butterfly Tree from grades 7 to grade 12.

Since completing school Mafian has volunteered for the charity for the past three years, helping with both the malaria prevention and community housing projects.

Mafian’s care and compassion for the orphans and the elderly has gained him a place on Zambian team.

In January 2018 Mafian started a plumbing course, sponsored by the charity, in Livingstone, after which he will seek employment to be able to support his family.
